Leadership Live is designed to be delivered as part of a facilitated program. It can exist as a stand-alone experience, or be incorporated into broader development. Leaders take part either as individuals or in small groups, and the simulation can be accessed via tablet and laptop.
The participant takes control of a virtual team and is required to make real-time decisions and judgements, with characters whose behaviors change over time. The simulation is adaptive, which means that everything the leader does (and doesn’t do), and every decision they make has an impact. All of these independent variables lead to an endless number of possible combinations so even the smallest decision can have a big impact – just like in real life!
The simulation features a range of avatars representing the leader’s direct reports and key stakeholders, providing a life-like experience that is both fun and engaging. It tests their ability to work through the team to complete the task on time and within budget.
Once the simulation is complete, the facilitator works with each leader to evaluate their overall performance. The rich data produced by the simulation not only provides you with a way to track the progress your leaders have made, but also to identify trends in leadership behavior. This helps your business identify potential areas for further exploration in order to maximize the impact of your leaders.
