What the 'best' do
Hay Group helps organizations perform to the best possible standard. In order that we – and therefore our clients – can continually learn from the world’s most successful companies, we carry out regular studies with select publications to examine what the ‘best’ do.
Globally, we have partnered with Fortune magazine for 16 years for an annual study of the World’s Most Admired Companies (WMAC). Today the survey has become the benchmark of corporate reputations the world over, collecting the thoughts and opinions of more than 15,000 top executives, directors and financial analysts.
We also conduct the Best Companies for Leadership (BCL) study globally every year, with the aim of identifying which organizations have the best leadership practices and seeing what we can learn from them.
In India, we partner with Fortune India to publish the rankings for India’s Most Admired Companies, an endeavor to recognize the efforts of companies that are able to implement best practices over time consistently. These are the market players who attracted and retained the best talent, and outperformed industry peers and the market as a whole.
Understanding how the best companies operate, through our research around their practices, provides insight into the very nature of corporate success. Such insight is of great value, particularly in the face of economic uncertainty.
