Balancing competing demands
Aging populations, increased patient demands and the rising costs of medicines and equipment: in both public and private sectors, healthcare managers are faced with a complex balancing act. How do you deliver greater medical excellence and improve patient service, while faced with ever tighter budgets?
As a result, healthcare is facing enormous change with delivery models being radically revised. Aspects of care are now provided by multiple organisations and public/private sector collaboration is increasing.
This in turn necessitates organisational transformation – moving from central provision to a more networked approach – and an increased focus on staff development and motivation.
From the UK’s National Health Service to private providers across Europe, North America and beyond, these are exactly the issues Hay Group is helping resolve. Our work has focused on:
Healthcare sector salary survey in Middle East
In a pioneering accomplishment in this sector, Hay Group has successfully completed its first ever Healthcare sector salary survey in October 2014 for UAE and Qatar with 65 new clients in the first year of launching the study.
Concentrated efforts by organisations such as PHCC in Qatar have helped catalyse public and private sector focus on Healthcare in these regions. The significant public sector investment in this industry shows that healthcare holds a lot of promise as a viable career option and for generating new jobs in the coming years.
