Hay Group Insight Launch Global Employee Engagement Forum

PHILADELPHIA, PA – October 11, 2012 – Hay Group Insight, the survey research division of global management consulting firm Hay Group, today announced the launch of its global Employee Engagement Forum. The forum, which will host events in over 20 major cities throughout the world, has been developed to help business leaders and HR executives increase levels of employee engagement and enablement within organizations.

William Werhane, managing director, Hay Group Insight, commented: “Over the past few years we have seen declining levels of employee engagement and a stubborn gap between the discretionary effort employees are willing to put into their work and the level of support available within organizations to help them excel. The aim of our global Employee Engagement Forum is to create an environment for business leaders and HR executives throughout the world to network and exchange information and ideas, helping them to engage and enable employees, at the very point when organizations need to deliver better performance.”

The program launches with an opening event in Frankfurt, Germany, on Wednesday, November 7, 2012, where Mr. Peder Anderlind, Human Capital Management, Credit Suisse and Ms. Doerte Stiller, Director Talent, Performance & Engagement, Bombardier Transportation will address delegates on how they are maximizing their employee surveys to drive business performance and maintain a competitive advantage.

Mandy Rehmann, Director, Hay Group Insight - German speaking markets, commented: “Both Credit Suisse and Bombardier Transportation are among the leading companies in their respective industries. We are delighted that they will be joining us to share their success stories with business leaders and HR executives from companies throughout the DACH region.”

Author, and Hay Group Senior Consultant, Tom Agnew, will join Mr. Anderlind and Ms. Stiller and examine why employee engagement alone will not guarantee an organization’s effectiveness. Mr. Agnew will emphasize the importance of leaders needing to enable their employees to overcome workplace frustration – the silent epidemic that is now creeping through many organizations.

Following the opening event in Germany the program will continue with events in Australia, Belgium, Brazil, Canada, Chile, China, Colombia, France, Japan, the Netherlands, Peru, Russia, Singapore, Spain, United Arab Emirates, the United Kingdom, and the USA.
